La DolcEvita opened on March 2nd this year.

La DolcEvita was formerly run by mother and daughter, Babette et Eva.  Eva has now taken over the popular café formerly called Babette et Eva and renamed it DolcEvita.  

    

DolcEvita still has the same warm welcoming ambiance of Babette et Eva.  DolcEvita is a café-bar-salon.  You can have a light lunch, just a drink or a delicious hot chocolate.  Relax with friends or take in a literary evening or perhaps a musical evening or afternoon.

Eva specializes in homemade soups, tartines and pastries made with local products. Don't forget Sunday's at DolcEvita. Brunch is all day!

                                                       

Thoughts of food. I have a serious weakness for financiers à l'amande.  This is my first go to recipe when I have leftover egg whites. They are very easy to make.  Just mix together ground almonds, butter, flour, icing sugar, egg whites and almond extract. Make a batch and see how fast they disappear!
