Sipping champagne on top of the tower.
The photo of the champagne bucket and champagne was sent to us from Mags, Uwe and their son, Ryan. They stayed in our Lucarne Suite in July and enjoyed their champagne on the tower terrace. They purchased the champagne bucket as a souvenir of their stay here. The views from the top of the Lucarne tower are gorgeous. Thanks for the photo Mags, Uwe and Ryan!
Thoughts of food.
I finally tried a tapenade recipe I've had in my files for the last few years. Olive, almond and dried apricot tapenade. Add some balsamic vinegar, garlic, fresh basil and pepper. Plump up the apricots in boilng water. Do a quick pulse in the food processor. Fast easy and delicious. I made it for Byron's birthday party to happy reviews. It is now on our list of favourites for aperitifs.
